Getting Started
As a new client, you’ll begin with private sessions to work one-on-one with a skilled instructor. These sessions help us:
- Identify your unique needs and goals
- Introduce you to the foundational principles of Pilates-inspired movement
- Ensure you feel confident and supported before joining a group class
Our Intro Mini Private 5-Pack is a great starting point. However, the exact number of private sessions needed before transitioning into group classes will be determined collaboratively between you and your instructor.
We require these private sessions for your safety, confidence, and optimal progress.

What to Expect
Because Pilates is a unique and thoughtful method of movement, your journey will begin with a personal evaluation. In your initial private session, we’ll take time to:
Discuss your goals and physical needs
Evaluate your posture, alignment, and muscular patterns
Introduce foundational breath and movement techniques
You’ll likely spend some time lying on a mat or table, exploring key concepts such as postural awareness and core engagement. We’ll also guide you through an introduction to the Pilates equipment, including spring-based apparatus designed to assist and challenge your movement in a variety of ways.
This session is all about meeting you where you are, so you can feel safe, informed, and confident as you begin your Pilates practice.
Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to our instructors and clients on our waitlist, we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for any session cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 100% of the session fee.
Thank you for honoring this policy—it helps us serve our community with care and consistency.
What to wear
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to bend, move, and breathe with ease. We recommend form-fitting attire when possible, as it helps your instructor better observe your posture and alignment to ensure you’re moving safely and effectively.
That said, your comfort is the priority—wear what makes you feel good and allows for unrestricted movement.
We practice barefoot or with grippy socks designed to provide traction and stability on the equipment or mat.

Being able to use my own life experiences and partnering with others to support them on their journey is one of the most rewarding and humbling gifts I’ve ever received. I LOVE teaching others how to move beyond the roadblocks life has thrown at them, and discover that they can take control of their well being, their mind and how it affects the outcomes they are able to achieve. YOU are your own first-person expert of your body and how it moves and thrives. YOU have the capacity to remove the barriers to a healthy body, whether from a life of injury or simply from age, and to do so with grace and ease. And I’m here to guide you on the journey to that potential.
You can call me an educator or instructor but I feel most truly like a partner, a listener and encourager of your independence. I am a motivator and facilitator of your best self. I have always believed you can’t ask others to do things you can’t do yourself.
My purpose is to walk alongside my students and inspire a sense of empowered independence. As you learn the ability to tune in and access your body and its state of being you create safe, easeful freeing movement. With heightened body awareness, and optimized healthy balanced movement you’ll find deeper wells of strength and flexibility, both in body and mind, that make YOU your biggest heroine and me your faithful guide.
